Southborough Common

Dear Residents,

I am aware of a recent report of suspicious behaviour on Southborough Common on Wednesday 27th May at approximately 21:40hrs.

A male was reported to have been acting in a way that made a family in the area feel uncomfortable, prompting them to leave. 

At this time, there is no information to suggest any offences have taken place. I have spoken directly with the family and provided appropriate safeguarding advice. 

I will also be conducting additional patrols in and around the Common, particularly during the evening.

Please be reassured that incidents such as this are treated seriously. Southborough and Bidborough both remain a safe places to live and visit.

If you are out in the area of the Southborough Common and witness anything that causes concern, please report it to Kent Police via 101, or 999 in an emergency.
